Well, if you had abusive parents, I’ll tell you what being an adult is like. It’s waking up in the morning and realizing that your nightmares aren’t real anymore. That you’re safe. That they are not coming to break down your door and scream at you or hurt you.

And that you can choose the people that you want to be in your life.

(It can take a while to get away, I got away from my mother at 23, but you will get away.)

Just a heads up, that bit on the wiki about “pink and red robes” is not from ancestor cell, so idk where they sourced that info from, but in searching instances of “pink” “scendeles” “robes” and “ceremonial” in ancestor cell produces no results of that, pink only ever referring to skin/flesh, scendeles only shows up once in the bit where they’re discussing the fact they went bankrupt, the only color mentioned in conjunction with robes are the white presidential ones

wtf is going on at tardis dot wiki??? Did someone just nab pink out of thin air??? Are the Scendeles colours being confused with the Patrex heliotrope??? Is the only way to find out this information to go through every single fuckign VNA and EDA??? Is it even POSSIBLE to know the Scendeles colours??? Have we fallen into a purgatory-esque timeline between the Scendeles and Scendles universe where everything is in impossible flux???

My main problem as a writer is that I don’t write because “I have a story to tell”. I write because there are worlds I want to visit, ideas I want to explore, people I want to meet, conversations I want to hear, emotions that I want to express, and impossibilities I want to make real.
