There is more than one way to say no to sex and / or sexual advances, and understanding ways other than a literal “no” (ex: “I’m not feeling well”, “I have a partner”, “I have to go home early today”, “I’m a minor” (!!!)) is an important social skill.

The burden of establishing consent or lack thereof does not fall on the person being asked, it falls on the person asking to determine whether they’re getting an actual enthusiastic “Yes”.
