They say the Fire Queen is kissed by ice. That her hair is like snow, and that she has a cold stare. But her smile tells a different story. Her smile is like fire, like madness in her heart.
They say the Ice Queen is kissed by fire. That her hair is like flames, and that she has a warm smile. But her eyes tell a different story. Her eyes are like ice, like wildness in her veins. (x)
In the second month of the 304th year after Aegon’s Conquest, at the onset of the Second Long Night, the Dragon Queen, Daenerys Targaryen came to Winterfell on the invitation on Sansa Stark, the Queen in the North to broker a pact to defend the Seven Kingdoms from the Night King and the false queen, Cersei Lannister. According to Maester Wolkan, the two were soon “of one mind.” The event came to be euphemistically known as ‘The Courtship’, for it sowed the seeds of an alliance that blossomed into the reign of Westeros’ first co-monarchs. Queens Daenerys and Sansa ruled Westeros together for over fifty years, and were said to have lived as husband and wife.
There hasn’t been a single memorable dalek storyline since Russell T. Davies was showrunner. Like, I know that there were daleks at various times over the last eight years, but I’m damned if I can tell you what they were doing.
i don’t know, i thought that the “daleks, obvious space nazis that they are, who refuse to allow any form of life that isn’t up to their idea of “perfection” to exist, now have an asylum for imperfect daleks which they allow to live in relative peace and this isn’t ever noted as being ooc at all” story was certainly memorable.
it wasn’t memorable for good reasons, but that’s beside the point.
I find it so strange when people have to say that Sansa has to have a redemption arc. Like, she has to redeem herself from what? Being an 11-year-old girl?
“As I write these words, I await Israel’s destruction of the only home and community that I have known in my 52 years of life. The 180 residents of my West Bank village, Khan al-Ahmar — men, women and children — will soon be forcibly removed from our land in order to expand Israel’s illegal settlements. Our homes will be demolished and even our elementary school, built with love out of nothing but tires and mud, will be leveled.”
40 families will be forced out of their land and all 180 members of this community will be made homeless. the school which serves 185 children from five neighbouring communities will also be levelled.
all to make way for illegal, jewish-only settlements.
the residents of khan al-ahmar have been given the “option” to destroy their own homes and some would wonder why they’d do it in the first place. palestinians sometimes choose to demolish their own homes because doing so themselves saves them from having to pay demolition fines to israel (here’s a whole documentary about it). in this case, if the residents of khan al-ahmar refuse to demolish their homes, then not only is israel going to destroy their entire community anyway, but will also charge them for it.
Alright I’m out of the loop, what’d she do wrong that y’all want her dead
She herself had no part in that tho. What’d she do personally is what I’m asking.
To quote James Connolly: “We will not blame [her] for the crimes of [her] ancestors if [she] relents the royal rights of [her] ancestors; but as long as [she] claims their rights, by virtue of descent, then, by virtue of descent, [she] must shoulder the responsibility for their crimes.”
Y’know that’s fair actually
Never seen someone actually change their stance on this site, RT for good luck
