@ whoever wrote the anonymous op-ed, did you try and fail to stop the President from snatching children from their families, or was your thought process more along the lines of “meh, it’s not like they’re white, i’ve got more important battles to fight”?

gotta love how every google search trying to find a hair color that’ll go well with my natural auburn is just page after page of people happily suggesting dyes that go well with black/brown/blonde hair but when you get to any shade of red it’s all

cognitive empathy(the ability to know what people are feeling/thinking) is imo the best type to have high amounts of 

affective empathy(being able to respond to people’s emotions, basically? there’s a more clear definition but i can’t find it) is somewhere in the middle, being fairly useful but still overwhelming in large amounts because it tends to come with the drive to help people who are suffering which, while necessary, can lead to compassion fatigue and whatnot

emotional empathy(feeling other people’s emotions) is probably the worst like… a little bit is fine i guess but to have that in high amounts? how tf do y’all handle having other people’s emotions in your head all the time?

there was a webcomic i used to read years ago and literally all i can remember is this one strip of two girls at a con wearing lolita outfits agreeing to be photographed by a super (intentionally made to look by the artist) creepy dude and then walking away wondering to themselves why he wanted their picture since they aren’t cosplayers, only to realize “ohhh, he wants to masturbate!”

and let me tell you that is. not a helpful thing to remember when trying to find it

i keep getting recommended these weird anti-crunchyroll videos on youtube made in the last few days and i was scared to click on them and finally one of those videos was helpful enough to give me a hint in the thumbnail and its just that crunchyroll was like. vaguely positive towards feminism or something

every fucjing big company is just like… alright now that we’ve had a few years of brand loyalty built up from us not doing this shitty thing, let’s do the shitty thing and we’ll get away with it right???

alright, it looks like the “kinda aesthetic kinda sexual” orientation label is quasisexual, which i have mixed feelings about

cons: a bit obscure even by a-spec label standards(in other words the community is 3 people and a shoelace), no flag, already a word that is in use as something other than an orientation label

pros: i don’t have to coin something myself, and uhhhh

i guess i get to make a flag?
