“Boone, Hays, and Myers encountered a man identified as L.H. in the crowd and arrested him. The undercover detective, a 22-year veteran of the police force, was dressed as a protester and providing information to officers about potential criminal activity in the crowd.

According to the indictment, Boone, Hays, and Myers used unreasonable force: throwing the detective to the ground, kicking him, and hitting him with a riot baton “while he was compliant and not posing a physical threat to anyone.”

When they learned that he was an undercover officer, the three men then lied about what they had done and accused him of resisting arrest, the indictment said. They tried to contact L.H. to convince him not to pursue disciplinary or legal action, and Boone, Hays, and Myers also met with or texted various potential witnesses to try to get them to join the cover-up, the indictment states.”

A cop killed an unarmed boy in front of his family in a courtroom and a grand jury ruled that his use of deadly force was reasonable.

Story/Video: https://bit.ly/2CNvSEz

IM SORRY WHAT

So the cop lost his temper and started beating up this kids mom. The kid intervened and the cop pinned him to the ground. While he was already pinned to the ground and not fighting, the cop shot him point blank. And the jury ruled that a reasonable use of lethal force. Am I reading this right? Who are these bootlicking pieces of shit they keep getting for these juries?

From the article

—————————

Following the shooting, the Fraternal Order of Police issued a statement in support of their police officer. Executive Vice President Keith Ferrell said:

Whenever somebody attacks an officer, there’s always a
weapon involved, always because the officer is always armed…There’s
always likelihood, the probability, that that person could get your
weapon, incapacitate you with a non-lethal weapon, and then get your
sidearm. We’re trained, absolutely that you can’t allow that to
happen…It was very clear to me, and in my experiences, that he was
attacked and this was a fight for his life at some point.

Same tired old “he feared for his life” bullshit argument from cops.  Sounds like cops are a bunch of trigger happy cowards.

His name was Joseph Haynes. He was a 16 year old boy shot point blank by the officer straddling his prone form while his mom and grandmother watched. Instead of immediately calling for medical aid, the cop first called for back up to remove Joseph’s family. They were dragged away while he lay dying on the floor.

Where the fuck is the White Pride crowd? Where the fuck is the All Lives matter? Where the fuck is the MRA?

They’re pinning kids down and shooting them, apparently.

protests in russia, 9.09.2018

sorry for the long post, but i won’t hide it under read more, you’ll have to see this, boo hoo.

@ rich educated students living in europe or america, studying “russian culture” in their universities and wishing you lived here, or Woke ppl thinking all russians support their government’s actions and do nothing to stop them,

i cannot believe how lucky, privileged and naive yall are.

protests against retirement pension age reforms took place all over russia yesterday. they were unsanctioned, because in russia you’re supposed to apply for the authorities to let you host a protest; otherwise everyone is arrested and beaten up. which is what happened yesterday. these people were out on the streets protesting the recent change in retirement age (it was moved forward, thus making the chance of the government just keeping your money if you die before reaching the retirement age, which happens very often here as russians in general don’t have a long life span thanks to atrocious medical care system and the lack of resources)

stats: more than a 1000 people arrested, including old people, teenagers and children; people beaten up, some of them wounded or with broken limbs, some old people requiring urgent medical care; most of community organisers and opposition leaders detained before the start of the protests. (https://tvrain.ru/news/ovd_info-471172/)

all for a peaceful protest. some of these people knew what to expect, because this is how most of protests end here. some didn’t, and were old and frail, or young, and just wanted to express their discontent. they were treated violently, ruthlessly and cruelly. this is what my country is today.

i am enraged. i am grieving. i HATE that the rest of the world doesn’t care, that the west make all russian developments about themselves and the western media only reports russian news connected to the american elections. i hate that no one ever mentions or notices the suffering of the people, the people arrested and jailed for nothing, the people tortured to death in prisons, oleg sentsov’s hunger strike going on for over 100 days and counting, the murdered journalists, the unbelievably widespread and obvious corruption, the spread of religious propaganda in all civil affairs including education and medicine. nothing changes, nothing ever will. i hate this.

and this post won’t get more than like, 15 notes, most of them likes from my fellow russians. people i know in europe tell me to my fucking face that they consider putin’s regime “strong and powerful”, american commies post memes about stalin and lecture ME, A CRIMEAN TATAR, on how the soviet union was beneficial for the people. i can’t express the kind of despair i feel every day.

All true. Peaceful protests are treated the same way here in Belarus. I remember

our teachers threatening to expell us if we are caught even walking through the neighbourhood where the demonstration would take place. And yeah, many people lost their jobs and were expelled out of colleges for things like that.

legitimately if i ever have a seizure around a cop im gonna fuckin die lmao

like

  • strange erratic movements
  • “not obeying” verbal commands(more like actually can’t but w/e)
  • will reflexively attempt assault if not outright homicide on strangers & men trying 2 restrain me
  • “will not” respond to attempts to communicate(again. i actually cannot respond)
  • did i mention homicide
  • blank stares
  • sudden jerky motions

in conclusion im fucked

Ommmggggggg I just went to a restaurant and the waiter didn’t poison my food, or beat the shit out of me for walking in! They literally just took my order and came back with my food when it was ready. Bless these angels 😊😊😊😊😊😊😍😍😍😍😍😘💯💯💯💯💯💯💯

Literally what you people sound like when you praise cops for not killing innocent people and doing their fucking job

although this is true, cops should still be praised for doing their jobs like they’re saving ur life???

So is everyone else???? Trash collectors, plumbers, janitors, people who make my clothes, literally the majority of jobs on this planet is to make sure humans can exist safely and live longer. Cops are getting paid, well, much better than a lot of other jobs and their jobs aren’t even that dangerous in comparison to others. Like everyone should be praised for doing their job, but at the same time, like the rest of us, the reason they even have a job is because they better be fucking doing it well, not because of some bro code that makes it cool to kill and threaten innocent people (the literal opposite of their job) and then go on a paid vacation.

There needs to be standards.

You’re a moron.
If someone does well in any job they deserve praise, but to compare a policeman to a rubbish collector… Next time someone robs a bank or kills someone, we’ll be sure to get the janitors on it…
You can’t compare a skilled job with menial labour.

Menial labor that keeps diseases from spreading. Janitors are fucking important. All jobs are fucking important. Trash collectors are the like are in fact MORE important than police officers. When the police in nyc were on strike crime was actually down (Google it), when the trash collectors, or transit workers are on strike the city suffers, GREATLY.

Yes, the police should be grateful I compared them to the people who collect trash, because I’m comparing them to people who are actually fucking useful and whose jobs are far more important.

Police work doesn’t make the top 10 list of most dangerous jobs.

“Rubbish collectors” are in the top 10, but not police. People should keep that in mind.

fssws have a potentially /very/ dangerous job, with a great deal of the violence we face coming from the cops themselves, but no one ever seems to want to praise us for that.

and when we do our job poorly, people DYING isn’t usually one of the consequences.
