Except that’s entirely normal…? We are social animals, and like many other social species, our communication involves some form of body language. It’s a way of quickly transferring ideas and feelings to those around us, so we don’t waste time asking what someone is feeling in a dire situation. From an evolutionary standpoint it makes perfect sense to jump to conclusions in order to ensure survival. Just because autistic people have trouble with it doesn’t mean it’s inferior.

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s… the point, flying right over your head.
