just look at it. Its soft, cute AND everyones friend. It can be whatever you want it to be. The perfect size to hold and the perfect face to smooch. its got little toe beans and it loves you. Amazing.

For both chronically ill people and people in general:

Do you ever feel so tired it’s genuinely agony, like if you have to keep enduring it or have to stay awake you’ll genuinely kill yourself because it’s so painful?

I have to lie to my doctors and lie to myself and say ‘I couldn’t stay awake this morning’ or ‘I can’t stay awake’ as a symptom in general but it’s really that instead, because I know I’ll either sound a) really weak and dramatic or b) crazy (and while I am mentally ill, I don’t want to be forcibly hospitalised for being suicidal when I’m actually talking about a physical symptom, so it’s too risky to put it in those words)

And I don’t know if it’s because I’m super pathetic and just can’t cope with being tired (which is like, world record levels of being Weak, which wouldn’t surprise me about myself) or whether this is what normally happens during the experience of ‘so tired I can’t stay awake’ for normal people and I just experience it so often it’s decontextualised and surreal and so I can’t identify it properly

I really need answers bc this is getting to me SO bad and it’s overwhelming and really scaring me to finally confront – so, it’s okay to reblog to reply or to use the reply function (or reply via anon ask even)

ETA: more words for it, it’s like literal agony, just the tired kind and not the pain kind – like you would do absolutely anything to make it stop and it just so happens the one thing to do that is sleeping (other than dying)

I’ve had a sleep disorder /my entire life/ and it very rarely gets that bad for me.
