also to my neurotypical followers, for autism acceptance pls avoid posts about it that have a blue theme. blue is the color for autism speaks, and autism speaks is VERY ableist and toxic. they demonize autistic people so much and even support the murder of them, and they have the nerve to act like they support autism. to learn more about their gross behavior just google it, it isn’t exactly a secret.
instead seek out posts with a red theme, the red represents those against autism speaks and represents actual autistic people. on the surface autism speaks tries to seem like they’re wholesome, they especially try to appear this way to neurotypicals bc nt’s are the only people A$ cares about, so if you aren’t very educated on autism to begin with i understand making the mistake of casually supporting them, but now that you know they’re basically an ableist hate group if you continue to support them you’re being ableist as well. please support red instead, avoid autism speaks at all costs.
