I don’t think that blogger is autistic because they have a post talking about how ” real autistic kids” are non verbal and smear feces on walls and scream all day and will never hug you, so probably not autistic at all. Also they seem to be using house autistic as an insult..

oh eweww gross, fuck that ableist shit (…no pun intended)

yeah, i figured out that but i dont understand what they *mean* by it like?? do they mean the tv show House? are they referring to the myth about teens “faking” aspergers bc they dont like to leave the house? idgi

ty for telling me tho! #unsanitary #ableism #antiautism

Except if you look at all those characteristics of allism, none of them are actually distressing deficits that impair the way someone is able to participate in society, unlike many of autism’s characteristics. (And by the way, I’m actually autistic, so…)

yeah, because allistic ppl make society accommodate them at our expense

like for the most part autism is a disability bc of social model(society disables us by not accommodating our needs) rather than medical model(accommodations help but ur still disabled)

sorry for calling you allistic. i’m still annoyed at your messages, but you don’t deserve to be lumped in with those shitheads

Also, you can’t equate allism to autism because only one is actually a disorder marked by distressing/impairing deficits.

people who suffer from allism show very little interest in even their favorite activities & hobbies. they don’t stim even when they are supposedly extremely emotional, and instead move their face muscles around, even becoming irrationally angry when these facial movements are not ‘interpreted’ correctly.

where normal people have appropriate likes and dislikes of sensory input, people with allism can seem extremely indifferent, barely noticing the tastes, textures, etc, that they claim are their ‘favorites’.

their speech patterns follow no particular standard, or script, and it can often be difficult for allism parents & friends to understand such a randomized way of communicating.

they are limited to verbal communication; people with allism typically only learn nonverbal forms when absolutely necessary.

their interests show extreme diversity, with patients often exhibiting interest in an abnormally high range of topics and hobbies, yet their involvement tends to be shallow, with very little enthusiasm for any specific thing in particular.

furthermore, they are a massive burden on society, feeling a strange compulsion to send normal teens without allism anonymous messages supporting eugenics & declaring their unfortunate affliction to be normal and non-harmful.
