I am Loafers. This name was given to me because I wear loafers. I wish my origin story was more interesting. The story behind my favourite colour is more interesting. When I was a tiny Loafers, I loved Thomas the Tank Engine. I would change my favourite colour every birthday to match the colour of that number train. I stuck with Percy’s Green. My favourite ship is probably Anna and Mr Bates from Downton Abbey. Favourite ice cream flavour is chocolate chip. No cats, but I do like cats.

i must confess that i have very little knowledge of thomas the tank engine and had to google it to figure out what age you were when you stuck with green. it’s a good thing you did tho bc green is the best color and will one day rule the world… somehow

also “when I was a tiny Loafers” is now officially my favorite phrase of the day so go u

So one of your special interests is surviving the apocalypse? thats pretty cool! what kind of situations are your favorite?

omg thank you!! under a cut bc wowww this got long

mobile users, i am so sorry

well, for anything involving a physical fights, i like the ol’ zombie setup. i like looking for good places to funnel them in, making it easy to handle a large group with only a few people. there are a few hallways in my school that, given a little bit of preparation involving chair and desk barricades, would make great places to hold them off and figure out what my/my group’s next move is.

still in the zombies bit, things that would make good weapons that i either have or could easily get ahold of; i have a nice oak quarterstaff that would work well, and it wouldn’t need sharpening like a blade or reloading like a gun, with the main problem that it sucks in small spaces and has a limited range compared to a gun. i have an outdoors knife my brother gave me bc he didn’t need it anymore that could double as a zombie killer and a more mundane tool for cutting food and whatnot.

when i’m at grocery stores, i usually go for a vague scenario in which necessary supplies & everyday items will no longer be available for an indefinite amount of time.

this one usually involves calculating what i need to get before stores run out; canned soup, water bottles, water purification tablets, matches, salt, sugary snack foods, dried meat, fresh bread, powdered milk, batteries, games, warm clothes, peanut butter, gatorade, fresh fruits..

occasionally i instead think about needing to set up camp in the store(say there’s a massive natural disaster that will prevent me/everyone else from getting home for a few days & has cut out the power); where do we dump the no-longer-frozen foods, what’s the best spot to sleep in, how should we ration the food supply?

i also like figuring out what would be available to eat and can be found without going to the store- dandelions are edible and actually taste pretty good once you boil the bitterness out, wall lettuce leaves are also edible and can get much bigger than dandelion leaves(although they’re much more bitter and need more boiling time to make them taste good), dock leaves are edible but raw leaves shouldn’t be consumed in large doses as they become toxic in moderate concentration, and maple leaves are safe & actually taste pretty good(think green apple skin), although the texture plays havoc with my SPD so for me they’d be better mixed in with some other kind of food.

could you explain a bit the median thing, if you don’t mind? i’m sorry if this is intrusive, i’m genuinely curious.

i’m crap at explaining it so be warned that you may have no idea what i mean

if you think of minds as circles, then singlets are one circle in one body, multiple systems are multiple circles in one body and median is sort of like a venn diagram- not separate people, but not quite one person either

does that make sense? c:
